AHHH... THE MUSIC

After all, that's what it's all about right?  The music!  We pride ourselves on many things, but the VARIETY of music is probably the biggest, most important part of what makes Mobile Music Express so successful.  We use CREATIVITY and expert timing to make the most of every given situation at a horse show.  We help create the perfect ATMOSPHERE throughout the duration of the show.

TYPE OF MUSIC:
The style of music we play is indicative of what is going on in the arena at the time.  We will set the tempo to match the horses discipline, taking into consideration the movement of both the horse and the rider.  From when the horses come through the gate, to when the winning exhibitor takes their victory lap, our music will correspond to the flow of the show.

With that being said, we also are willing to work with each show individually to put forth the feeling and style they are looking to project.  We can customize our play list to suit the needs of each individual show.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
"Do you have a set play list, or do you choose the music as you go?"  

A) We absolutely choose the music as we go along.  It's totally "on the fly".  Although we might prepare ahead of time, things may change instantly in the midst of a class, and we must be able to adapt and fit the music to the situation at hand. 

"So, do you have a license to play all this music?"
A) Contrary to popular belief, it is the responsibility of the venue, or the hosting organization (whoever sells the tickets) to obtain the license for public  performance.  Shows should contact ASCAP, BMI, and/or SECAC to obtain proper licensing.

"Where do you get all your music?"
A) We purchase CDs.  Mobile Music Express has approx. 1000 hard copy CDs in our library.  Now that downloading has become legal through some companies, we now purchase many of our songs from legitimate sources.  We never illegally download or pirate music. 
         
We understand that it is hard for some people to comprehend that we have thousands of songs loaded on our system, and we couldn't possibly have that many songs without illegally obtaining some of them.  We have been cultivating our system over a period of several years now.  A lot of hard work and many hours have been spent loading and organizing music to work specifically for the types of events we do. 

ONE FINAL WORD: All the songs in the world don't do you any good without the creative mind and appropriate choices of the person playing the music.  Mobile Music Express is proud to have such talented people who are dedicated to providing the absolute best in pre-recorded music for spectator events.
